Barry Donahoe Named General Manager
Edwards Signaling & Security Systems is pleased to announce that Barry Donahoe has been named as General Manager, effective March 6. Barry comes to the position with an exceptional 25-year track record across a broad range of roles in sales, sales management, strategy and marketing management, both traditional and interactive. Barry began his career with Cutler-Hammer in 1981, after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. During a successful 19 years with Cutler-Hammer, Barry progressed through a series of diverse sales and marketing leadership positions.
In 2001, Barry started his career with GE as Director of E-Business with joint-venture start-up, GE Cisco Industrial Networks, and most recently, served as Web and Information Strategy Leader for GE Consumer and Industrial. In his new role, Barry will oversee operations, performance and drive the integration and growth strategy for the business unit.
Additionally, Pamela Thomas was promoted to Marketing Manager. Pam has over 13 years of experience with the Signaling business, starting her career as a technical writer and working her way into the Marketing function. Most recently, Pam played a key role as Marketing Specialist, and has been instrumental in helping integrate Edwards Signaling into GE Security since the acquisition of Edwards in early 2005. Pam obtained her Bachelor's degree in Marketing with honors from University of Phoenix in 2004.
