CHESHIRE, Conn., July 22, 2003 – Edwards introduces the 114 Series Compaxx beacons combining high performance and reliability in a light-duty, cost-effective, PLC-compatible signal. Less than four inches tall, for either surface or conduit mounting, the Compaxx beacons are designed to fit in all kinds of locations. The signals are sold individually or come in a convenient ‘six-pack’ container.

Compaxx beacons are particularly effective in high noise areas and can alert personnel in manufacturing, process control or warehouse environments about operations and equipment status. Available in steady-on or flashing incandescent or xenon strobe, the units feature a NEMA 4X enclosure and come with a shatter-resistant, polycarbonate lens in five colors: amber, blue, clear, green and red.
